Second Transnational Project Meeting (TPM2) Brings TI4DM Consortium Together in Portugal

On 25 and 26 June 2026, the Talent Inflow 4 Digital Minds (TI4DM) consortium gathered once again, this time in Portugal, for its Second Transnational Project Meeting (TPM2), hosted by Instituto Politécnico de Santarém. Over two full working days, three representatives from each partner institution, Constantin Brâncuși University of Târgu Jiu, Lietuvos Inžinerijos Kolegija, Instituto Politécnico de Santarém, and Goce Delčev University of Štip, came together to take stock of everything achieved so far and to chart a clear path for the months ahead.

At the heart of the meeting was a thorough review of project progress: partners examined the quality of every deliverable produced up to this point, discussed timelines, risk management, and financial and quality assurance procedures, and proposed adjustments where needed to keep the project firmly on track toward its milestones. This kind of honest, detailed stocktaking is what allows a consortium spread across four countries to move forward with confidence, knowing that every partner shares the same understanding of what has been accomplished and what still lies ahead.

This particular meeting carried an extra layer of significance, as it took place at the very home of the leadership of the ACE2 EU Alliance, the broader European university alliance to which all four TI4DM partner institutions belong. During the meeting, partners had the opportunity to discuss how the TI4DM project has become a genuine source of inspiration within the alliance itself, demonstrating in practice that university activities can be taken to a new level of ambition and impact. The project’s approach and results have already encouraged other universities within the ACE2 EU network to explore and develop their own project proposals, a meaningful ripple effect that extends the value of TI4DM well beyond its own four partner institutions.

Beyond the working sessions, TPM2 also carried a more personal dimension. As part of a dedicated cultural moment, aptly named „Discovering New Alliances to Talent Inflow 4 Digital Minds”, partners took the time to step back from spreadsheets and reports and reflect together on the human side of this collaboration, sharing honest feedback on how the partnership has grown, what has worked well, and where the consortium can continue to strengthen its way of working together. In a project built on cooperation across borders and cultures, these moments of genuine connection often prove just as valuable as the technical discussions themselves.

With TPM2 now behind it, the TI4DM consortium moves forward with a renewed sense of alignment and shared purpose, its partnership stronger and its direction clearer than ever, proud to see its work already inspiring the wider ACE2 EU community and ready to carry this momentum from Portugal into the next stage of the project’s journey.
