Work Package 2 Successfully Completed: A Milestone Year for the TI4DM Project

On 31 May 2026, the Talent Inflow 4 Digital Minds (TI4DM) consortium proudly marks the successful completion of Work Package 2, the foundational stage that has shaped the entire project since its launch. Over the course of nine intensive months, Constantin Brâncuși University of Târgu Jiu, Lietuvos Inžinerijos Kolegija, Instituto Politécnico de Santarém, and Goce Delčev University of Štip worked hand in hand to turn an ambitious idea into a concrete, thoroughly tested educational offer for students across four European countries.

The journey began in November 2025, when the consortium met in Târgu Jiu for its first Transnational Project Meeting, laying the groundwork for two years of collaboration. From there, the project quickly moved into the field: between October and November 2025, all four partner universities organised local stakeholder roundtables, engaging 63 employers and organisations and resulting in over 30 signed partnership agreements, ensuring from the very start that course content would reflect real labour market needs. Building on these insights, the consortium spent the following months developing ten comprehensive digital courses, covering everything from cybersecurity and programming to project management and content creation, and by March 2026 had fully translated and narrated all courses into Romanian, Lithuanian, Portuguese, and Macedonian, making them accessible to every learner in their own language.

No course, however well designed, is complete without the voice of the students it is meant to serve. In April 2026, each partner university invited its students to test the courses directly, gathering feedback from over 400 students, far beyond the initial target of 100 per country. This feedback fed directly into the Transnational Mobility for Content and Curricula Finalisation, held in Bucharest at the end of April, where professors from all four institutions, joined by researchers from the Romanian Academy and groups of students, worked together to harmonise and refine every course. Weeks later, in May 2026, the consortium turned its attention to the labour market itself, hosting a Transnational Mobility for Employers Partnerships in Lithuania that brought together more than 40 local employers, resulting in over 30 additional partnership agreements and a wealth of job opportunities to be shared with future graduates.

Taken together, these activities represent far more than a set of individual milestones, they form the backbone of a project built on genuine collaboration between academia, students, and industry. With Work Package 2 now complete, the TI4DM consortium moves forward with confidence into its next phase: integrating all course content into the „Elevate Digital You!” platform and preparing for the National Employability Fairs, where the digital skills developed throughout this journey will finally meet the professional opportunities they were designed to unlock.
