29 iun. Consortium professors shape the TI4DM curriculum with insights from Romanian Academy researchers
When four hundred students across four countries shared their honest feedback on the newly developed digital courses, the „Talent Inflow 4 Digital Minds” (TI4DM) project consortium made a clear, collective commitment to listen, reflect, and act. This commitment came to life in a powerful way during the recent Transnational Mobility for Content and Curricula Finalisation. Hosted by the project coordinator, Constantin Brâncuși University of Târgu Jiu, this intensive working meeting brought together twenty academics and specialists from all partner countries, united by the single purpose of elevating the digital curriculum to its highest possible standard.
The meeting welcomed delegations from all four partner institutions, bringing together professionals from UCB in Romania, Lietuvos Inžinerijos Kolegija from Lithuania, Instituto Politécnico de Santarém from Portugal, and Goce Delčev University of Štip from the Republic of North Macedonia. Adding a distinguished layer of intellectual depth to the gathering, researchers from the Romanian Academy joined the working sessions. Their presence brought valuable scholarly expertise that offered fresh academic perspectives on the course content, inspiring the team and helping to elevate the overall quality of the educational materials in ways that will directly benefit future learners.
Over four demanding and highly purposeful working days, the participants analyzed the extensive survey results gathered during the student feedback events. Every suggestion raised by the students found its way into the debate room, ensuring that no critique or recommendation was overlooked. Across different languages and academic traditions, the experts openly discussed solutions and implemented concrete revisions to the course content and curricula. This process underscored a shared foundational belief within the consortium that digital higher education must be continuously refined and optimized through active dialogue, rather than simply delivered as a rigid product.
The collaborative energy and the consensus reached during these four days yielded significant academic output that extends well beyond the immediate scope of the project. As a direct result of this intense teamwork, the consortium produced a comprehensive Report of Good Practices. This structured document captures the most valuable insights, methodologies, and pedagogical lessons learned throughout the content finalisation process. To maximize the impact of these findings, the report will be shared not only across the TI4DM consortium but also with institutional partners within the broader ACE2EU European University Alliance, contributing significantly to the wider European conversation about quality, inclusivity, and innovation in digital higher education.
While transnational mobility events are a cornerstone of Erasmus+ cooperation, this particular gathering carried exceptional weight. It demonstrated that TI4DM is an initiative driven by genuine collaboration, active listening, and continuous improvement. Thanks to the synchronized efforts of these twenty experts over four days of intense academic synergy, the project’s digital courses are now stronger, sharper, and more student-centered than ever before, standing fully prepared to make a tangible difference in the academic and professional lives of learners across Europe.
