Great digital education is never built in isolation; it is shaped by the very people it is meant to serve. Guided by this philosophy, the „Talent Inflow 4 Digital Minds” (TI4DM) project consortium recently concluded one of the most dynamic and energizing activities of Work Package 2: the Target Group Feedback Acquisition Events, held simultaneously across all four European partner countries.

Once the initial versions of the ten digital courses took shape, the consortium took a step that sets this initiative apart from traditional e-learning developments by going directly to the students. Each partner institution, Constantin Brâncuși University of Târgu Jiu from Romania, Lietuvos Inžinerijos Kolegija from Lithuania, Instituto Politécnico de Santarém from Portugal, and Goce Delčev University of Štip from the Republic of North Macedonia, independently hosted a dedicated feedback event on its own campus. These events invited students to experience the new digital courses firsthand and share their honest, unvarnished impressions. The result was a resounding, cross-border dialogue fueled by the voices of 400 students.

During these interactive sessions, participants engaged deeply with the course modules, explored the interactive multimedia elements, and completed a structured survey designed to capture detailed, meaningful insights. Students weighed in on critical dimensions such as the clarity of the academic content, the responsiveness of the interactive design, the effectiveness of the accessibility features, and the overall quality of the localized translations. This comprehensive review allowed the consortium to gather crucial data on what is working beautifully and what can still be refined before the official public launch.

In a landscape where digital courses are often developed top-down and released without undergoing rigorous testing by actual learners, the TI4DM approach stands out as a genuine model of student-centered design. By embedding a structured feedback phase directly into the course development workflow, the consortium has ensured that the final educational product reflects not only academic expertise and industry insights but also the lived experiences of modern learners. Dimensions like multilingual support, universal accessibility, and real-world relevance were put to the test by 400 young people whose constructive input is now being carefully reviewed and integrated into the final course improvement process.

The invaluable insights gathered through these events are driving the final modifications, transforming every piece of critique into a building block for a stronger, more inclusive learning experience. In the TI4DM ecosystem, students are not viewed merely as the passive end-users of digital education; they are recognized as active co-creators of its future.
